The Best

Merry Christmas!
Christmas this year was so much fun. We now have two families to celebrate with instead of one! it all started for us on Christmas eve. Robbie went to work and I stayed home to clean the house and run some errands. Around 6 when Robbie got off we headed over to his parents house for a prime rib dinner. It was amazing! Julie is a great cook. After opening pj's some hours later we headed out into the snow to warden. We got there later then expected but everyone was still awake we ended up playing games till early in the morning. I don't remember falling asleep until around 3. Ever time we tried to quit it was "just one more." about 4 hours later at 7:00 am the young ins woke us up. Bright and cheery eyed we started the day out with my family. It was a success! soon we headed back to the Waites's not wanting to miss Ben's phone call. We opened presents as soon as we got there and Rob and I exchanged gifts. For about a week before he had me believe that what he had gotten me haded came in the mail yet and i wasn't getting anything. But some how they were under the tree and my gifts were amazing! Soon later Ben called, he sounded funny at first but by the end of the conversation he sounded like himself. We ate breakfast and then took a nap. It was time for dinner at Grandma and Grandpa Waites's. Dinner was awesome and I love food but I would have to say that the best part of the day and night was singing Christmas hymns as a family. This helped bring the spirit and feel the true meaning of Christmas. This Christmas was amazing and so far the best! I hope you all had a great Christmas, spent time with your family and remembered Christ and his life this year!

The Beginning

Hello Everyone!
Almost everyone in my family has a blog, and since we just got married I thought I would start one too!

Robbie and I were married November 14Th 2008, in the Columbia River Temple. It was an amazing experience that I will never forget. I remember being so nervous about a month before, not because of the marriage but for my first time through. After my interview with president Baker all my worries were gone, and I was super excited! Time flew and soon the day was here, it was everything I ever hoped for and more. It was peace full and relaxing knowing that we were together taking another step in our life to return to live with our Heavenly Father! I'm so grateful for the experience and all my family that attended. They were a great support. Mostly, I wouldn't have been able to do this with out Robbie, he has been my strength ever since we met. His Testimony and faith in the church and our savior makes me want to be that much more for him and myself! He treats me like a queen (which I don't deserve) and reminds me everyday how much I love him. Our love for each other continues to grow as we take life together at a different speed. I'm grateful for him, his love, and amazing example!

Even though it was freezing cold outside, Julie, being amzaing, got some great shots!
